St. Bernard school classes began on Wednesday, September 1st. We began our new school year with mass and Fr. Ume blessed all the children, their parents and the staff. The children had early dismissal.
Dismissal for Thursday and Friday will be at 3pm.
Las clases de nuestra escuela parroquial comenzaron el miércoles 1 de septiembre. Comenzamos nuestro nuevo año escolar con la misa y el Padre Ume bendijo todos los niños, sus padres y al personal.
El jueves y viernes saldran de clases a las 3pm.

Please join us for Youth Group on Sundays after the 6:00pm mass. We either meet in the friendship hall or the church.
Youth Bible Study every Thursday evening from 7:30pm-8:30pm

St. Bernard School is proud to announce openings in our preschool. Our Catholic Preschool is one of only two offered in the area. Our curriculum is designed to prepare children for success in kindergarten in a fun, engaging and faith-building environment.

Soda and Water donations will continue until the weekend of the festival (October 2 & 3). Any type of canned soda or bottled water are being requested. They can be dropped off in front or back of the church before or after Mass. Thank you for your support in this parish event.
Continuaremos colectando donaciones de soda y agua embotelladas hasta el fin de semana del festival (2 y 3 de octubre). Cualquier tipo de soda enlatada o agua embotellada se está pidiendo. The Rosary of Mauricia Balboa, age 84, will be held on Friday, September 3, at 7:pm at Funeraria del Angel in Bellflower. The funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 9:00 am here at St. Benard Church. Followed by the burial at Rosevelt Memorial Park in Gardena.
