On Saturday, February 11th, there will be a half-day retreat held in the Friendship Hall for all Ministers. It will begin with the 8:00 AM Mass followed by refreshments.
Fr. Ume will be the guest speaker helping us to refresh our souls prior to the beginning of Lent. We will focus on "Love and Giving" and give thanks that the Lord loved us so greatly that He gave us his only Son to open the gates of heaven. It concludes by 12:00 noon. If you can attend, please call the parish office or Peggy Bailey at 562-804-1224 (head count needed for refreshments).

Ayúdame a conocerme mejor a mi mismo y a reconocer mis cualidades ahora que estudio y decido sobre el destino de mi vida. Ayúdame a ver y a comprender el camino que tu abres ante mis ojos. Ayúdame a escojer un camino que sea verdaderamente una respuesta a tu amor por mí. O Jesus, Good and Gentle Shepherd, grant that the men and women from our community may have the grace and the courage to hear and answer your call to preisthood and religious life. Give them the wisdom to realize that life is a gift. Let them realize that their life is part of Your plan. Call forth those you have chosen to spread the Gospel message, and help them to freely respond to a life of service in the Church.
