Los miercoles de Cuaresma tendremos cenas de sopa y pan en el "Parish Hall"-salon pequeño de 5:00 -7:00 PM. Cada semana diferentes grupos de la parroquia se tornean para preparar sopas deliciosas. Pan y cafe serán proporcionados. A esas personas que atiendan se les pide que den una donación que serán donadas a la dispensa de la parroquia. Siempre necesitamos su ayuda. La abstinencia de carne se observa el miércoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo y todos los Viernes de Cuaresma por todos los católicos mayores de 14 años.
El ayunose observa el Miércoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo por todos los fieles que han cumplido los 18 años y los que son menores 60.

Las personas que necesitan una copia del Reporte de sus contribuciones de fin de año 2009, pueden solicitarlo llamando a la Oficina Parroquial al (562) 867-2337. Favor de dejar su nombre, numero de sobres, dirreccion y numero de teléfono y le llamaremos cuando el reporte está listo.

Señor, te doy gracias por los dones que me has dado y, de modo especial, por la vida, el amor, la familia y la amistad. Ayúdame a conocerme mejor a mi mismo y a reconocer mis cualidades ahora que estudio y decido sobre el destino de mi vida. Ayúdame a ver y a comprender el camino que tu abres ante mis ojos. Ayúdame a escojer un camino que sea verdaderamente una respuesta a tu amor por mí. Y si tu me llamas a seguirte como sacerdote, religioso, religiosa, misionero o laico consagrado, dame, te ruego, un corazón generoso y la fuerza para seguirte adonde tu me llames. Amén.

The Gospel of Luke, the Acts of the Apostles and the Christian Eucharist led by Father Felix Just, S.J.
April 12, 13 and 14th, 2010 in our Church. Fr. Felix's mission will be in english only. Everyone are very welcomed and urged to attend.
We offer doctrinal and spiritual preparation to those who desire to become members of the Catholic Church through Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist, as well as to those already baptized who seek to be received into the full communion of the Church through Confirmation and the Eucharist.
We will meet on Sundays in the Parish Hall at 10:00 am to 12:00

O Jesus, Good and Gentle Shepherd, grant that the men and women from our community may have the grace and the courage to hear and answer your call to preisthood and religious life. Give them the wisdom to realize that life is a gift. Let them realize that their life is part of Your plan. Call forth those you have chosen to spread the Gospel message, and help them to freely respond to a life of service in the Church. May the parents and families of our parish support and encourage our young men and women to search for, follow, and answer the call of God in their lives. Amen.
